Maybe we?ll get the Cats this week. I?ve got a funeral Saturday so I?ll be busy all weekend. Wife?s grandfather. Hell of a man. That generation was America?s greatest. I?m sure I?ll have a cocktail at some point

I put a 11 lb butt on this morning. Picking up a half gallon of old charter when i leave work in about an hour. Shoot a limit of teal in the morning and grill them up tomorrow night. Oh have a pulled pork burrito for breakfast before shooting my limit

Grilled a sandhill crane breast. They call it ribeye of the sky, but the taste and texture is just like that of perfect young whitetail backstrap. Very good.

Also grilled a pork tenderloin and some various veggies & fried a little okra.

What area are you hunting? Haven't seen jack squat down this way, but going to give it a go in the morning again anyway.

The road named after my wife’s family in the sticks in Canton apparently has a new hole in the wall/juke joint so the entire family is heading there. This should be interesting

Prediction? Pain.

Celebrating the win with some of our opponents' finest:

Sort of like drinking their tears, but without all the Fireball, Jager, and HGH. Zing!

Making a big pot of Tom Kha Gai tomorrow, a Thai coconut curry soup. The 3- and 5-year-old won't touch the stuff, but if I let them steer the ship, we'd be eating cheese, crackers, and cereal three meals a day. Their loss. It's phenomenal.
