Might just be the Black shirt, but looks like coach has slimmed up.

He needs to. He was a heart attack waiting to happen.

Might of joined Moorhead on his diet. Joe dropped a good bit from the end of last season to the spring.

Yes, looks like he's lost more than Joe did. He also looks younger than he did last year.

I saw him last week. If he's lost any it isn't much.

No doubt he lost some weight. Wonder if our Northern coaches take an adjustment period when moving to land of fried foods. Joe bloomed up when he first moved to MSU, then lost it plus more. Now Lemonis.
Good to see.

Maybe I should have posted a side-by-side of him (In the video vs. the Omaha interviews). He looks a lot better now. Good for him.

Well surely he lost some water weight Saturday.

If his ass spent any time outside of his suite he definitely cut a few lbs.

Can't tell, but I hope so. As a CPAP user, I can detect my fellow Cpap buddies.

Weight plus his breathing is cause for concern

He looks like a happy guy, I like seeing a man enjoy his job

He said something interesting, paraphrasing, but something like "last year we took over a Omaha team, an older team, you don't want to change that dynamic much."

I think that's a reason we were down on Joe last year. He inherited a great team and changed the offense way too much and the results showed.

Whew...I thought he cut somebody from the team

The thing about baseball and maybe the biggest difference between baseball and football is everyone pretty much plays baseball the same way for the most part. Yeah, you may have some teams that are more small ball and some that are more power hitting teams- but fundamentally it's about the same in general.

With football you have coaches that are either more passing, running, or balanced coaches or they're a 4-3 or 3-4 guy and they know their system whatever that is. So whenever they go somewhere they're going to try to implement what they know and want to do.

I think he inherited a great defense- and actually changed that side pretty drastically as we went from a 3-4 to a 4-3. Offensively we had too many holes and Nick and Guidry in particular didn't step up like we all hoped that they would. And then the tackles weren't very good against elite pass rushers either.

The jury is still out on Lemonis, but you have to give him credit for not coming in and trying to change a team.

The future remains good for Lemonis if the commits for the next few years actually make it to campus.

It will certainly be interesting to see how he fairs this year (Lemonis). I was skeptical of the hire, but I think we found the right guy. Mangum sure as hell thinks we did.
