Wrong, senior laden squad. Very well Coached as well. Their Qb was really good making big throws yesterday. They will be in a decent bowl. Their OL is very Good, all seniors.

Most people made predictions of 6-8 wins assuming we would be healthy and be relatively normal regarding suspensions. I would be interested to know people's pre season expectations if I had told them that:

We would have no Willie Gay for 8 games
We would have no Whop for 8 games
Stevens and Shrader would have almost the same number of halves played through game 3
Gibson, Stevens (missed a half), Cam Dantzler, Autry, and Parker would miss a home game against a P5 opponent AND our QB would be a true freshman for half the game. Plus no Autry or Gay

I think most of us would have tempered a few expectations. Truth is we don't have the depth to overcome the sheer number of guys that missed time yesterday. Preseason everyone said injuries at key positions would hurt us. Well that has happened plus suspensions. We can talk about some of the slow offensive play calling. Get it. We can talk about lack of explosive plays. Get it. But we were missing 25% of our starters by the end of the game yesterday plus a valuable backup in Gibson. We can't win games missing that many folks.

I know some have a Moorhead vendetta. I get it. But let's not act like that number of injuries or suspensions isn't hurting this team's ability to maximize its potential. Full strength MSU beats Kansas State yesterday

On saturday with the injuries and suspensions it was at best case equal, they probably had more talent tbh. Hill and Cole are better than anyone they have but as a whole they had better players than we did and it still took 3 turnovers and a kickoff return to beat us. It is going to be ok. The culture isnt broken the program isnt dead. KSU aint bad they are going to have a good year just relax and go Saturday if you can. The stadium needs to be rocking. Empty seats hurt you in recruiting and we have done a great job of creating one of the best atmospheres in the country. We need that back again
