He's slowly turning into one of the best QBs in the NFL.

His release has gotten much quicker & he's become more accurate.

He will win a Super Bowl for Dallas. You can bet your ass on that

Dak has worked hard and turned himself into one of the most accurate passers in the league to go along with his running ability and leadership. It's way early yet but he's almost Brady like lot of similar qualities

RocketDawg

Montez Sweat was just chasing Dak and got a flag for roughing the QB. The color announcer - don't know his name - said Sweat was from Michigan State, then "corrected" himself and said he was at Mississippi State (said he didn't want to catch the ire of Bulldog fans) but was a transfer from Michigan State.

At least he didn't say he was from Ole Miss ....

The field is full of SEC players today, and many of them are Cowboys ... Dak , Cooper, Cobb.

Dak has been really good, but look at what QBs have done vs the opponents, wash and NYG...

Last week, wentz vs wash:
28/39 (.712) 313 yds 3 td 0 int

Half time Allen vs NYG:
15/20 (.750) 210 yds 1 td 0 int

Washington and NYG are just awful

ETA... I think dak, Allen, and wentz are all good QBs though

It's not about your question. Go back and look at every thread on this board regarding Dak recently, and you'll find a post from you in everyone of them that discredits him or slights him in some way. Like Buckethead said, why can't we just be proud one of our's is tearing it up on the national stage?

While you're correct about the strength of schedule, this same team with last year's OC would be squeaking out wins, rather than the blowouts we're witnessing now. Dallas is really good on offense. Dak was literally shackled his first 3 years with an offense out of the 1980's. Changing play callers and adding Cobb were huge additions, one being by subtraction.

Curious, is the criteria a true 50-yard pass or can a short pass and long run count? I would think on true 50-yard passes that Russell and Rodgers would lead the way

Dak went 26/30 for 269 and 3 TDs 1 INT. 5 rushes 69 yds.

The Cowboys WRs had 3 drops. 1 led to the INT. Dak threw one pass out the back of the endzone as a throw away.

Phenomenal game.

Take out the 3 drops and INT that aren't on the QB and the passer rating would have been 145.4 for Dak.

He had a 123.5 officially.

(Waits to be told how many catches / yds the WR helped him out on).

There's nothing wrong with presenting evidence as to why he's looking great instead of just blind hometown and refusing to step back and take an objective look compared to other QBs.

Dak is playing great and looking at why he's playing so great isn't a disservice to him.

Folks can't take a critical look at their own guys. It's no different that politics. People pick their "team" and figure out how to defend any attack against their "team", even if it's a legitimate point.
