If we beat K State by 21+ and the defense looks much more improved I'll be a little surprised but not much.

You remember that time in 1980 when we beat AL? I do.

I just watched 3 people making lines on this game.

- One stated he's staying away from it because he don't know
- the others were all over the talking point that Fitz isn't there as if that is a plus for K-st.

Listening to them, it was obvious they are clueless.

They have no "insight" to this game.

I heard the FS1 lock it in guy on the JOX Roundtable radio show in Birmingham say he liked State better against the number if Keytaon was the starter over Tommy Stevens. And this guy is supposed to be a professional! I immediately changed the channel.

The betting guy on Mississippi Talk today picked KSU outright. He was all on for KSU in DWS. No real reason to buy in to what KSU has done so far.

Remember when we had Simmons and Sweat on the Dline? What about McLaurin and Abram on the backend?

What about Nick at QB? What about below average WR play and coaching?

Most of these so-called experts know zero about MSU, and the rest think we’re OM. Kansas St would beat OM; ergo, they’re picking K State to win.

Guys when have we ever been picked to win a decent game?

Like I sometimes say in these type of matchups, It comes down to who has the most team pride. That's usually your winner.

The more I drink, the less I fret over this one. You whipped Bowling Green? They were 3-9 last season. I mean, Kansas State beat them like even a mediocre team should’ve beaten them. You want a cookie?

K-State will have equal team pride and will get their ass beat.

There’s not a single metric or model that says this should be close.

In fact there’s model’s that day we’re a top 10 team but not a single model thinks Kansas State is anywhere close enough to be in a close game with MSU.

You still can't accept that this years D is not even close to being as good as last years, now can you?
