Coach, what do you think of our effort level?

Are we getting relentless effort and if not what can we do? Also why are we losing in every game after halftime?

Let me ask you:

Is Dak playing hard? Jameon? JRob? Perkins? Did Clayborn look like he was working hard? Will Redmond? Market? You damn right they are. They are playing their ass off.

I dont have a specific answer for 1st vs 2nd half. Our performance in the 1st half shows that we are coached well. We come out well prepared with a good plan- and we execute it well. In the 2nd half, it's not one particular thing. Sometimes it's playcalling, sometimes it's penalties killing a drive...sometimes it's a missed FG. Just something we have to continue to fight thru.

I think some of the struggles late in the game are due to a lack of seniors. We really need some leaders. I think dak is becoming our leader on offense. I wish someone on defense would become a leader.

I also think we need to go to a power back with dak in the 2nd half esp. I'd also like to use more power formations

I could understand a couple of games but this is like a 2 year thing now. Ever since Bama last year Mullen seems like he is just going through the motions. I know it just isn't me because it comes up with a lot of people I talk to.

Last year Bumphis stepped up against Uab?Or troy, and Banks against UT. I am fine with a win is a win but a blowout loss isn't just a loss. Especially when it wasn't happening 2 years ago.

2009- we got after Florida's ass really good with 2 defensive TD's- but Bama beat us 31-3 and UPig beat us 21 points
2010- LSU by 22...Bama by 20-but we had been down 30-3....we did play UPig well that year though at home.
2011- lost to LSU by 13, SC by 2, Georgia by 14, Bama 17, and UPig 27
2012- lost to Bama by 31- had a FG blocked and a turnover in their end zone, A&M by 25, and LSU by 20
2013- LSU by 33, Auburn by 4 so far

We actually played teams better in 2011 than in any year for the most part- but I dont see the big differences others seem to

LSU was on the road in 2010 -- at home in 2013. They finished with 2 losses in 2010 -- they've got that in half of 2013 with the chance to lose 2 more.

Undefeated National Champion Auburn at home in 2010 -- Good Auburn with at least 2 losses on the road in 2013.

Bowl-eligible Kentucky in 2010 -- 2-win kentucky in 2013.

2013 USCe and TAM should be 2010's UF and UGA right? So we need to expect a lot from these 2 games.

Id say this year's OSU was 2010's Arkansas. Big dropoff there this year.

2013 Arkansas probably is slightly better than 2010 Houston, especially if they are on their 3rd string QB when we play them.

Don't know how much it effects the team overall, but we got a great example of how the team responds to the QB situation and swapping out. First two drives, both offense and defense were pumped up. Tyler comes in on 3rd seriesn, and our entire team mentality changed. I never saw the initial intensity the remainder of the game. I saw this happen during the BG game as well.

As I've been stating for weeks now, we will not win 6 games if he keeps that shit up. Play Dak the entire game, keep the team in game mentally, let Dak get some rhythm, and beat USC, ARK and OM. Tyler does nothing that makes us a better team, so when the **** is Dan going to stop hurting our chances with insisting on being loyal to Tyler?
