#3 SEC Passer is nice... but we need to talk defense:

- After two games, Doak Walker Award Candidate RB Kylin Hill leads the SEC and Power 5 and is second in the FBS in rushing yards (320). Hill?s 320 yards are the most by an MSU player through the first two games of a season since at least 2000. Hill?s 320 yards this season are the second most by an SEC running back through two games since 2010. Hill finished Saturday?s game with 123 yards on 14 attempts (8.8 ypc) and one TD, topping 100 yards on the ground for the second straight game. Hill had 197 in the season opener at Louisiana.

- S Jaquarius Landrews leads MSU and is tied for seventh in the SEC in total tackles (15). S Brian Cole II has at least 1.0 tackle for loss in each of the first two games and ranks tied for second in the SEC in total TFLs (3.5). DE Marquiss Spencer is tied for the SEC lead and fourth in the FBS in forced fumbles (2).

- MSU leads the SEC in takeaways (7 ? 4 fumbles, 3 interceptions) and is tied with No. 2 Alabama in turnover margin (+5). State is one of six SEC teams with three different players who have recorded an interception. Preseason All-American and Jim Thorpe Award candidate CB Cameron Dantzler had one in the season opener. CB Martin Emerson and S C.J. Morgan each had one last week. Emerson is the first MSU freshman to record an interception since 2012 Thorpe Award winner Johnthan Banks in 2009.

AND THE TOP PUNTER!

How come Mayden not on the depth chart? Or do they just typically only list 3 QBs?

Most of the games they usually only list 2.. this year is different though. never all 4 listed.
