It ain't rocket potatoes brother. If the person/account has a blue checkmark next to their name that means Twitter has verified that it is indeed that person. That way not any swinging dick can just post whatever the 17 they want and people believe it. At least that's how it's supposed to work as long as you look for the blue checkmark.
