The cajuns gifted us the ball at mid field at the half. Why would you not throw a Hail Mary into the end zone? Could have pass interference or hell maybe one of our 6'5 wide outs catch it. Nothing to lose.

After so many turnovers early they probably weighed it out that it was just as likely to fumble for six as score on a hail mary.

UNC-SCar had an even worse blunder than that.

I agree; we were in a good position for Joe to call one of his home run bombs and it not kill a drive. Chances of pick 6 very unlikely if thrown correctly.
