Their defense is supposed to be one of their best ever while the offense is supposed to be very anemic.

They can’t run the ball and their starting tb went out early with what looked like a serious knee issue. If they run on us then it’s a clear sign that we won’t be stopping anybody on defense all year

Best wr suspended for first 2 games too. They're not good offensively

We should be 3-0 headed into the Kentucky game. Hopefully by then, we?ll have some things figured out

They absolutely did. We got their very best today.

Yes we played Vanilla, but I don't think a lack of creative blitzing was the problem... fact is, we were out of position and blew assignments all the time. If that's happening when we play "vanilla", then waht will happen when we roll in different plays?
I'm not too worried about the lack of tackling. That can be remedied with an emphasis on physicality. Hopefully it's the same story with our inability to get off blocks. The NCAA limiting practices plays a role in these 2. HOWEVER, not knowing your assignments shows poor coaching, and if we couldn't teach them their jobs in months of prep I suspect it'll be a lingering issue all year
