I would have thought that would have moved fast with drop/add dates coming up at most schools and I actually kind of thought maybe he had a plan already in place if he wasn't named the starter and this would take 2-3 days max.

I do hate that if he stays he won't get to play in front of his home fans in the Superdome this weekend.

Brandon wimbush's skill set reminds me of key. If josh Heupel likes wimbush, key could me a guy he likes at ucf

How bout the school key beat in the bowl, Louisville? Satterfield likes to run the qb

Tulane would seem to be a great fit, not sure if it is good for him to be that close to home.

Fritz is a damn good coach and his offense would fit KT.

Someone is giving this kid bad advice - just look at Jalen Hurts. He had a chance to leave before the 2018 season but he stuck it out - he then got a chance to show that he can be a game changer (SEC title game). No way does he transfer to OU last fall but the spring move gave him a chance at a title ring, staying in game form, more options to transfer, and a chance to compete for a starting job in the spring. This is the route KT should take unless Garrett had passed him on the depth chart.

And Hurts got torched here by some for “sticking it out”...

Tulane is so perfect a fit that it will probably never happen haha

Had hurts left last season, he could've RS'd and had 2 years at Oklahoma

He is not getting bad advice. Moorhead has no plans for him to start here. It has been obvious.

There is probably a one in a million chance that anyone else will have the story Hurts had. No player should make a decision thinking that will happen to him.

Agreed. It?s not bad advice. He?s just not very good. He can run but he is not accurate enough to be an SEC QB.

The only way it makes any sense for KT to stay is if he can graduate early.

KT is fine either way he decides provided he can graduate in the spring. If he can't graduate in the spring, then he probably needs to transfer now, use his RS sitting out, and then hope to start for two years. Even if he can graduate in the spring, if he's not going to get #2 snaps b/c Moorhead wants to get Shrader ready for next year, then it's still probably best he transfer now.

I guess I'm kinda surprised that his camp didn't have feelers out if he knew he was going to hit the portal if he didn't get the job.

His options at this point are to get another semester of free education at state, or go home until January.

Or if he can't find a decent landing spot right now, which could very well be the case.

Well, that’s true. Had Saban started Hurts the whole season, Alabama wouldn’t have gotten blown out by Clemson...

Yep, but still. They could have played anyone else for 3 snaps earlier in the season.
