He has a lot. But he also has created some sacks on his on by holding on the ball too long and trying to make plays instead of just getting rid of it and move on to the next play.

UF is not a top 10 team. And he had better get some discipline in those players or the players will cost him his job. That was the best worst game I have ever seen

What? Why?? That just makes our resume look worse... win or lose, I'd rather LSU and TN be undefeated when we play them. Teams losing the week before results in them playing pissed off next week as often as it does deflated, so you can't say it makes us more likely to win.

ALso, there's the perception problem... if Mullen goes undefeated for 10 straight seasons people will look at us and go "Holly hell, the best coach in history could barely get Mississippi State above 8 wins". If Mullen goes 6-6 and is fired next year it will be "Guess it's not actually harder to win at State than it is at UF". That's why I want him to fail; it's nothing personal, but it'll make State seem like a better job/program

You're really still modeling how you think media behave based on 20 year old data? We got lots of preseason love last year, I think Dan raised how media sees us... it's new day. And I'm not saying I wouldn't enjoy the heck out of winning even if the other team lost to UF. I"m just saying LSU being 6-0 means they'll be higher ranked and we'll get more media attention than if they are 5-1 coming off a loss. Win or lose, we're better off if LSU/TN are more highly though of any way you cut it

Not really. If 2014 is any indicator of we are undefeated we are going to get attention. Even in 1999 we got attention even though it was downplayed by the media.

I'm just saying I would enjoy a great season even if we are taking advantage of teams while they are down is all.
