There is no blue blood in America that does less to earn that status year in & year out than Oklahoma.

Over the past 3 years, they are 6-4 against Top 25 recruiters with 3 of those games coming in bowl games. Meaning, Oklahoma has only played 7 top 25 recruiters in the regular season over the past 3 years.

Conversely, MSU is 8-10 during the same time span against Top 25 recruiters with 0 of those games coming in bowls.

MSU averages playing 6 top 25 recruiters a year while Oklahoma averages playing 2.3

That folks is ridiculous & causes a distortion of reality in college football.

Lincoln Riley has the greatest job in the world. The Big 12 should be relegated to G5 status at this point.

It's also a buyer beware warning for Iowa State coach Matt Campbell. He's beating crap

You need to take a break. Really over the top posting. As far as Matt Campbell, so what if he's beating sorry teams. Our last asshole coach Mullen just got a top 10 job doing the same.

It was worse in the old days. In the old Big 8 (?), there was Oklahoma and Nebraska and the rest weren't good. Oklahoma did play Texas, so they maybe had two difficult games in the regular season.

Yeah, it's pretty fraudulent.

Don't get me wrong, OU is a good program, but, from a talent perspective, they play something close to Kentucky & Vandy most weeks with the quality of that team being a little better or worse than Kentucky or Vandy depending on who the coach is.
