It's not like we are shitty like Ole Miss. Like last year, we have a shot to do something this year.
Let's try to run an entire thread with only saying positive things about our football players, coaches, etc.

Right now I am ready to see Stevens, Hill, Zubor, Mitchell, Whop, and Guidry roll. Right now with limited information from Camp it seems like Stevens is a baller. I will probably watch the 1st game of the season 3 times to track each players execution.

Our defense last year was solid. I think we have an opportunity to be better on the back end and through adjusting our scheme, we could be just as productive limiting yards. I really liked watching Landrews and Cole basically make plays all over the entire field. Now that they are healthy, I am ready to see if they can produce like Abramms did at the end of the season.

Hugh Freeze is getting better.

Our QB is legit.
Our RB is legit.
Our OL is legit.
Our TEs are deep.
Our WRs have to be improved.
Our back 7 is pretty legit.
Our DL has some young talent.

I think our secondary will be really good. They will allow Shoop to shore up the run defense with a couple of extra bodies.

This team has a very real shot of going 11-1. The SEC is down in the middle this year. Georgia and Bama are the top dogs but #3 is wide open for the taking.

Of course there are reasons we might not go 11-1; however, it’s a lot easier than people on here would have you believe. Tommy Stevens / the offense being at least what 2017 was. The defense only really got worse at DL, but we’ve never had a problem plugging in new guys who are at least serviceable there.

A&M. We have their number
Auburn. Starting a freshman QB.
LSU. We get them at home. Ed O is not a scary coach.
UK. We get them at home and they lost major pieces on both sides that absolutely wrecked us last year.
Tenn. It’s hilarious to see the UT hype machine make people believe they actually have something. They’re a year away if not two.
Ark/OM/OOC. Self Explanatory.

Bama is at home too. We did hold them to 24 last year. We did only get hosed on the Ridley TD the year before.

It ain’t that much of a pipe dream anymore.

(And this is a positive thread so leave your yea buts at the door. This is looking at things through completely maroon colored glasses.)

-Our secondary will be badass.
-Our O-line will be badass
-Kylin Hill is a badass
-TS will be an improvement over Fitz, at least in this offense
-There's no way our receivers can get worse

Dude, I like the optimism but we aren't going 11-1, no way, no how.

I feel like we're on the right path in terms of improving our roster at each position group to the point where we don't have as many holes anymore. Which is a big reason why our ceiling was limited.

I'm waiting on 7's post!

Only 2 more years of Moorhead!!!!***

For real though, if we don't stub our toe vs Kentucky and take care of business in Knoxville, 8 wins. 8 wins this year would be a nice season

Dude, I like the optimism but we aren't going 11-1, no way, no how.

Tell me who is the 3rd best team in the SEC. Tell me why it can’t be us. We don’t have to play Florida sooooo. We have 1 game against an S tier team and then the rest are all B tier or lower like us. SEC is devoid of the A tier teams this year.

The talent is there. If we can master the fundamentals, play team ball and keep the mistakes to a minimum the ceiling can be on level with 2014. If our QB can be half the leader that Dak was this could be a special year.

I think Moorhead improved his coaching staff this season. I like the new coaches better than ones we had last year.

Any negative comments should be deleted from this thread. :D lol. I'm just "positively" waiting for our season to begin.

Our O will be top 4 from last 10 years. Good QB, OL, RB, much improved WR. We will be top 5 in SEC.

Our D will be real good. Top 4-5 in SEC good. Back 7 are as good as anyone. I'll put our CB up against LSU and UF. I wouldn't trade our LB for Bama or anyone in SEC. Rivers will be All SEC.

7-5 the floor; 11-1 the ceiling.

Good year coming Bulldogs get ready to enjoy.
