This is awesome! Wonder how the scholarship situation will shake out. Definitely glad to have her return to the team, which is quickly shaping up as another top-10 team. Can't wait!!!

Yeah I didn't even know that was an option....that changes things a lot potentially. We've got an overload at the 2 spot

Nice! Our women do a good job of getting people eligible. Nice to be a dominant program and get the royal treatment.

Nyah Tate is no longer on the team so we had an open scholarship.

Huge, glad for her as well as the basketball program, including fans

Also, having Danberry helps put the team back heavily in the mix as one of women's college basketball's very top teams for the 2019-20 season.

Danbury with Jackson and our Aussie shooting 3's will score many points.

Probably gives us a shot at another deep run in the postseason. We are going to be a really good team this season.

I didn't know that she wasn't coming back. Why was she leaving?

Both, Rickea Jackson and Jordan Danberry well capable of taking over games. Andra Espinoza-Hunter is another major factor offensively when her 3 point shots are falling. Also, Chloe Bibby is an all-around type baller, brings additional experience, good rebounder, physical, passes well for a forward, and has a very good 3 point shot as well. Myah Taylor continuing to come around. Coaching staff doing a good job with her. Xaria Wiggins and Jessika Carter both appear improved players, including in confidence. Bre'Amber Scott in the mix. Ole Miss transfer Promise Taylor working to get healthy, and in the mix with the post players.

Newcomers
Rickea Jackson potentially one of the nation's best offensive players as a true freshman. She's that good.
Those other 3 freshmen guards are ALL really talented as well, and in my opinion, the 6-6 juco Yemiyah Morris is legit. Really impressed with the way she stood up against the big, talented Australian frontcourt in the World University Games championship game. Michigan State transfer Sidney Cooks expected to sit out this coming season.

On paper, this is the most talent that Coach Schaefer has had since arriving at Miss. State. Just got to put it together, including continuing to bring the younger, less experienced players along.

That is pretty good news on our team. Looks like we are poised to make a deep run again. Vic doing work.
