28 seems about right for us.

It's light. Should be 17-23.
Either way, we'll be comfortably in the top 25 by the Auburn game

Where are the 2019 S&P+ ratings?
Prediction? Pain.

Where are the 2019 S&P+ ratings?
Yeah, I haven't seen them anywhere, either. He did some early preseason ones in February before he left SBNation, but those are the only rankings I can find.
For what it's worth, in his recent SEC previews (https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/27150422/the-complete-sec-west-college-football-season-preview), Bill C. says the S&P+ has us projected at No. 10 out of the gate this year.

Thanks. Nice little write up on us

Maybe, but I can see where we have just enough question marks after last season to have us at 28.

The computer models have us as a consensus top 20 team. The question marks should've made us 17-23 & they would have with a different logo on our helmet.

Vegas has us as having the 20th best odds to win the national championship
And this. The data driven polls have us as a consensus top 20 team while the humans don't have us ranked. It's not that hard to figure out why

Vegasinsider has us 300/1 to win natty. They have 29 teams with better odds. They have FSU, Iowa, and UCLA equal with us at 300/1. We were 50/1 last year... I bet it at Mandalay Bay. I also bet basketball at 100/1.

A tweet button would be nice, but it's not that hard. See the command in the quote below.
Replace the # with the number on the tweet's url.
Change the 2 s's to t's
#
Does that make sense?

That's pretty much what I am taking into account - we still don't quite have the benefit of the doubt from AP voters. The computers are impartial about the logo, voters (especially sportswriters) are not. I don't agree with it, but it's what I have come to expect.

They mistakenly left us out. And I doubt that Clemson will be ahead of Bama by season's end.

While I think we have a chance to be quite good, from an outsider's perspective I can see why one might leave us out of the polls. We were a 5 loss team last year and lost 3 first round draft picks and a three year starting QB. I do chuckle at Nebraska being a preseason Top 25 team after they went 4-8 last year, but I'm fine with our positioning. Barring a surprise loss we should be ranked within the first 2-3 weeks and in the Top 20 by the time we play Auburn if we take care of business in our first four games and don't look sloppy in doing so.

Nebraska finished much better than they started. They lost first 6. Last 6 though...
Blasted Minnesota
Blasted FCS team
Lost at Ohio st by 5
Blasted Illinois
Beat mich st
Lost on last second FG at Iowa
Should they beat preseason ranked? I don't think so, but I do like frost. Offensive improvement from '17 to '18 (national rankings)...
Total off: 85th to 42nd
Scoring off: 84th to 58th
S&P+ off: 85th to 42nd
Martinez as a freshman was 2nd in total offense in big10. I think he will have a huge year

I wanted to hire Dino when we had an opening. I think he is one of the best up and comers in the country.
