Sorry folks but the greatest movie soundtracks belong to Highlander and Flash Gordon.

Stepping back in the way-back machine, I did own the Easy Rider soundtrack on 8-track. Good old tunes.

Forrest Gump and then Dazed and Confused probably have the two best collection of songs. Never owned either collection but like most of the songs and owned much of that music.

Only soundtrack I've owned in recent years, and played a lot, is O Brother, Where Art Thou? - different kind of music but that's a great soundtrack.
