Todd Grantham?s son commits to baseball

This was interesting. According to facebook Grantham?s son, a 2020 recruit committed to us in baseball. He is listed as an OF and being from Gainesville.

I think it says a lot about Mississippi State as a community and a college environment that a player would choose us over Florida. In a very positive way.

Does anyone know anything about what type of player Grantham is as far as what schools were recruiting him? I’m hoping that he was legitimately wanted by Florida, lsu, etc.

Grantham and family liked it here. He left because he had a guaranteed job. But he just turned down a pro dc job. He's happy where he is. He isn't likely to come back. Now I'm not saying he wouldn't ever, but no time soon, prior to dan leaving fla. he's got a great gig there.
