I saw on facebook that he will be joining the program this year instead of next so I am guessing that he will play his first year at State as a sophomore. There was speculation that he might be the favorite in RF going in.

Most people don't realize this but West Texas, even though flat, is at altitude & dry air. Denver is the mile high city, but you're over half way in term of altitude in West Texas. Big Spring, TX sits at 2,282 feet above sea level while Starkville is about 300 ft above sea level. Needless to say the ball flies out there.

This guy is a bit of mystery. Big, ultra mature bodied 1B that has some power. My guess is that they know Tanner Allen is leaving after this season & his replacement isn't currently on the roster. So this guy is the best stop gap they could fine

Originally from El Paso, but he's a bull. Nate Lowe but not as loose. Looks like a hole filler.

Biggest concern about this guy is that Howard JC is Texas Tech's farm team. Gotta wonder why they didn't want him.
