Good info.

Not sure if I like Jason, Phillips, and Reese gaining weight though.

I love Guidry's 10 lbs.

Hopefully that'll give him a little more confidence over the middle which will hopefully decrease the alligator arming. He needed more girth

I hope he has the same career arc as Fred Ross.

Nathaniel Watson and Aaron Brule will be ALL SEC players before they leave. Watson has gained around 45 lbs since he's been at State. Brule was a Jonathan Abram style Safety in high school, but his size has forced him to play OLB. He's really quick for his size.

I hope all these gains are good weight. Joe seems to put a heavy emphasis on top notch S&C based on how fit our team was last year, but I was concerned with the hire this off season. Considering we are running a primarily Zone based blocking scheme now the Oline being an average of 330 scares me hopefully we are gearing up to maul people this year with Kylin.

I wish he were faster. His feet always look heavy to me.

When I look at a roster like this and see all weights listed are a multiple of 5, then I take it with a grain of salt.

Word is that it's actually good.

Shoop says he's in the best shape of his life.

Honestly we looked in better shape then ever last year, I hope Bichey learned alot from Piroli about a professional level S&C program.

I like it. If it was in 15 to 20 pounds then I would be worried. Five pounds is probably pure muscle.

If he produces and become a shorter version of Bear Wilson I'm good with that.

OL seems big for what Moorhead wants to do in space.

I agree I think he is working with what we have. Mullen recruited a bunch of large maulers ,we seem to be adding athleticism with commits now though.

Hes not asking the OL to block in space?

Didn’t say they block out in space. Moorhead’s offense seemed predicated on getting playmakers in space. A lot of zone blocking. Gonna need athletic tackles to stop games like where Josh Allen runs off the edge all night. We’ve got a line built to grind people to a pulp head on, but Moorhead’s O is more about passing downfield and working in space. Need a little more of the athlete than the mauler at OL for that to work.

They've been running inside/outside zone since Mullen stepped on campus. We are fine athletically on the OL. And about Moorhead's offense, its a misconception that he wants to sling it deep. He wants the ball to go where it needs to go and that requires more mentally of you than it does physically. Sure he takes some shots, every OC does but its not like he wants Joe Flacco where all he can do is throw deep. Moorhead wants a thrower who can run while Mullen wants a runner who can throw
