I think we've seen a real shift in the way MSU is viewed nationally over the past few years. It's seems as if now we get a little more benefit of the doubt and they look at what we do have instead of what we don't.

Why? I think it's due to consistently producing good NFL players and 9 straight bowls, but most of all I think it's due to an increasing reliance on analytics and algorithms to rank teams. By taking the logo off the helmet, the algorithms can give a more accurate picture of who the best teams are than what CFB has ever had and this has tremendously helped MSU.

This is about right if we win the games that we could/should. It would be an 8-4 regular season with losses again to top 15 teams. Bama, LSU, Auburn, and A&M are all preseason top 15 with the tougher games at home. If we can win those 8 and steal one of those 4 then it would be a great season.
