Cut the grass today and goodness it?s hot. Gonna hit the water early lookin for some bass. I?ll cook something Saturday but not sure yet

Nice work beast.

We dodged the rain as long as we could this morning and found a few trout and several short reds. We did have a couple nice trout - 1 @4lbs and his best @ >3.

Nice lookin' fish, guys!

Tonight we felt like doing some surf and surf, so I've got a starter of New England oysters with shallot-meuniere and NOLA bbq shrimp (father-in-law's recipe) and some crusty sourdough. Balanced out the the spiciness from the shrimp with some Riesling. Good meal overall.

The evening was completed with some ice cream at the local joint down the road. The munchkin enjoyed it, despite how she looks, lol.
