Please check out the stickied post at the top of the page... The Shreveport Warriors elite kids football team had their equipment trailer stolen.
If you can chip in a few bucks to help that would be appreciated.

Shreveport Warriors
July 21 at 12:30 PM ?
Please pray for a Coaching friend of the Warriors, who was killed yesterday in yet another disgusting senseless killing in Shreveport. We have Coached against Coach Roderick Gaut in football and basketball, and he always had his teams prepared. He Coached the Riverside Rams, then 318Outlaws. Coach Gaut called me Wednesday after learning about our stolen trailer and all of our football equipment. He wanted to help the kids by offering several pieces of his own equipment, since he wasnt Coaching this season. I met him Thursday night to pick up the equipment, and it was truly heart warming talking to him about making a difference in a lot of these kids lives. Football and the lessons learned from the time we spend at practice and on the weekend with these incredible kids, will hopefully be passed on when they start there own families. Anyhow, please be praying for his family in the days and weeks to come that they may be able to put one foot in front of the other in there grief. This guy knew he was participating in much more than wins or losses. Shreveport has lost a good guy for sure. Please try to do something on a daily/weekly basis that makes a difference in others lives. Coach you will be missed, but leave no doubt you have made a mark in Shreveport youth sports and the community. Pray for our city. RIP Coach Roderick Gaut

They caught the asshole. The equipment is gone or ruined- but at least this moron is going to jail. Thanks to all that donated- I really appreciate it.

Well that's some good news. Hopefully the nearly $2k donated will help cover most of the equipment that needs to be replaced.
