Does his method sound vaguely familiar? "I have lost 15 pounds. I?ve done a six-day fast with water and a special coffee blend for wellness ..."

So some diet plan is a sponsor now.

I would guess most of that is water weight.

Some of that is fluid. I've done cleanses because, and they tell you to expect to lose about 10 pounds in the first week. Half is fluid because those plans are usually low sodium.

Yeah, that must be the case, but I don't think I'd put myself through that torture just for a sponsor. It doesn't sound healthy, but I wouldn't mind losing 15. Phil has always been sort of a fringe type guy anyway though.

It'll be interesting to see how this latest fad affects him making the cut in The Open. He's 49. I'm wondering if it will adversely affect his ability to walk the course 4 days in a row. Tiger is 40 and the announcers talk about him like he's dead with old age. Oh, to be 40 again ....

All of it is water except for maybe 2-3 pounds.

And if you eat ex lax after every meal you will lose weight. The safest way is to just burn more then you take in.

Check out the off topic board... I started a thread a couple weeks ago about my Keto journey... I was down 14lbs over the first week.
