Women's basketball. Miss. State's women's basketball team representing the USA at the 2019 World University Games in Naples Italy. Picked up the 93-85 win over Chinese Tiapei today. Also, being reported, freshman standout Rickea Jackson led the way with 35 points.

What does pool C mean? Do they only play others in this pool?

Carter had 20 something points herself. Once Promise gets healthy, we will have a legit backup for Carter. Jackson is an SEC POY type. We will be back in the Final 4 in 2022 and 2022.

What does pool C mean? Do they only play others in this pool?
Team USA is in the process of playing 3 pool games (Pool C), the top 2 teams from each pool advancing to the medal rounds with the remaining teams playing in consolation games. They currently set at 2-0 in Pool C, and play final pool game tomorrow.

My opinion
- Rickea Jackson is a sensational freshman talent with the ability to take over games. Very hard to guard.
- Jazzmun Holmes is the team leader, the glue. Consistently puts her team, teammates in position to be successful. She knows how to win games, knows how to closeout games.
- Jessika Carter is starting to emerge in the post, has stepped up big for her team
- Jayla Hemingway appears to be another freshman starting to emerge early this offseason. Also, Coach Schaefer is already exhibiting trust in her being on the floor with the game on the line.
- Xaria Wiggins making a showing in these games, been solid in a starting role
- Yemiyah Morris has been more than solid in limited action. Has been very active, productive when in the game.

yes but she is allowed to play in the world games. Anriel Howard would have been on the team had Vic known a little earlier she was cut by Seattle of the WNBA.
