"I stopped posting a few years ago. Would you please let ED know that Lee Benoist (LABdawg) died? I don't think Lee joined ED but he was a great bulldog and active on multiple boards years ago before he stopped posting.

I just saw a funeral procession on Hwy 51 in Ridgeland and the hearse had Mississippi State flags flying. Was this y'all?

Lee is getting buried in Columbus where his wife's from. But yes with the Hearst and cars/trucks having Msu flags and decals on the vehicles. Good man and great family, I actually Coached Lee and his younger brother a few years in H.S. He had a heart attack right after our last baseball game.

Known Lee for a long time. Grew up going to games with him and my father. Great bulldog, going to be missed

Me too, although I didn't know him well. It was a pretty good-sized tailgate in the day. Lee was not all that old was he?
