Charge him 180K for breach of contract. One question is why is he flying commercial?

Take the money, then tell the attendant he took my seat, after about 3 minutes.

Or first counter offer to get more money before you did that.

Probably $150,000 round trip for a long range jet if you don't own the plane. But certainly he knows a jet owner.

I have always pulled for Carolina but his guy gets on my last nerve. The most important person is HIM and he simply isn't a team first guy.

I'd tell him $1,500 is cheap for a rented mule. No thanks. Hope you're stuck between two fat stinkers.

I'd counter with $2500 and then meet in the middle at 2000.

Wonder if he cried on being turned down, as he does in interviews after Carolina losses that are never his fault.

I've always said that, if I were ever rich, I would buy a private jet just to avoid flying commercial. I have no idea what that would cost, but it doesn't cost anything to say it.

I would have no idea who he was other than, apparently, a pimp of some kind.

I would think he was in first class section, not coach, seems to me all seats leg room would be the same.

Dead wrong, just saw the video on fox News, he was in coach.

Must have blown the 180K or his daddy did.

Haha! No. Most people don’t fawn over athletes. I would negotiate. $3,000. Then I’d swap seats with him for that and say “the money was too good”.

Well, I doubt that. Now, I do think most of us would take the $1,500.

Where'd your Southern hospitality go or is that a myth for you? Cam looks to be approaching the man all nice and decent like so something tells me you wouldn't return fire to the 6'5 240 lb man standing directly above you that it'll be $3k for you to move your ass. Just a hunch though.

You obviously don’t know me. I’m very nice, polite, and respectful. I’m talking smack on a message board just to be funny. I wouldn’t say anything disrespectful to him or anyone else regardless of size or anything else. I wouldn’t move though. There’s not a thing he could do to get me to move except offer up enough cash. And it would take a lot due to the fact that I don’t care for him. In reality, I would say no thanks man. Sorry about that.

You having a reading comprehension problem apparently. Saying no and haggling for more cash are two different things.

I'm just saying, you're saying you would do it for free and those saying they wouldn't at least take the money offered are lying...in a thread discussing the fact that someone said no to his offer at the amount offered.

BS, obviously you have never flown a long distance flight in coach, trust me those "preferred" seats are worth more than $1500 if you can't stand up straight when you get off the plane.

Lol I've flown over a dozen long distance flights (over 5 hours) all in coach

Once again the point flies way over your head as you're stuck nitpicking words. By far your worst habit as a poster smoot and you really should work on it cause it's hella annoying to do this same dance with you over and over. The point I am making is that Cam Newton is 6'5, 240 lbs and a very gifted athlete. Ain't nobody gonna act like Billy Bad Ass right to his face while he's standing above them like the rest of the posts in this thread are suggesting.

I read it as an insinuation that they would just do whatever Cam told them to do. Sorry if that wasn't what you were suggesting.

But you did respond to someone saying he wouldn't push for $3,000. He didn't claim any sort of bravado in that counter.

so no trans oceanic flights, huge difference. fly to Europe 6 times in a year in coach and you wouldn't $1500 for a bad seat.

I've flown to England, Puerto Rico and Hawaii a couple times but no I haven't flown to Russia or Australia yet. My brother's flown to Asia about fifty times though and he's almost as tall as me. He sits coach every time. Does that count?**

I flew from Jackson, MS to Hawaii (stop in Houston). I would have switched with anybody on the plane for $1500.

I use to fly to the Tokyo , Seoul and Taipei regularly, coach was fine back in the day, it just wasn't crowded like it is now, but as I got older and coach became packed and my butt got to hitting rock bottom and I moved on up to first class as it was 24 hr door to door flights. Business class was available, but I said wtf, I earned it , go all the way.

One trip, we tried for 5 days straight to get from Japan to Seoul and had to turn back because of fog each time. Finally made it.

Ok, I thought about it....

I'd negotiate it up to $2000-3000 (as others have suggested), then tell the flight attendant "He took my seat." (as someone else suggested). In the ensuing argument I would provoke him to violence, take the ass whoopin', fly for free for the rest of my life and, whenever asked to comment on the situation, tell em this:
