Weekend Cooking & Drinking Thread: Dog Days of Summer Edition

Our Dawgs bowed out last night and my entire household has been battling the sick all week. Just a shirt week thus far. Saturday is my anniversary and we decided to go to a local hole-in-the-wall for steaks instead of the fancy deal. I start this bad boy off with my lunch and it?ll probably end up being my dinner too. A salad with homemade ranch, bacon, cheese, onion, maters, blue cheese crumbles, and buffalo walnuts. I?ll pour a bourbon for the baseball bunch at some point. I?m gonna miss this squad

No pics, but got to use my new fish fryer. Fresh catfish from our lake with the standard fries and jalape?o hush puppies.

Went to Bill’s Creole for steaks and crab claws. Went casual for anniversary this year and it was nice.

After a couple weeks out of the country, it feels good to fire up the grill. Went easy with some chicken and veggies, but with some good Dogfish 60.
