You're right, unless things break up in a hurry. We were supposed to have rain virtually all day here and it all pretty much dissipated, so it could do that there too. The pitchers are already having some trouble with the wet mound. If this game would get over and they could cover the field, it might be OK but they're only in the 4th inning.

They aren't "winners", if that makes sense. Our women's team are winners, our men's isn't. One is confident under pressure and one crumbles. It's a culture thing and is something Butch clearly hasn't gotten through their heads yet. Winning in the cws is clearly too much pressure for their 3b and 2b to handle.

Apparently Julien isn't known for his defense, but his bat is important. Maybe they should put him in RF or as the DH. The guy at 2B isn't much better.

I wouldn't be that certain of that... Just because it says it's going to rain doesn't mean it's going to rain non-stop or very much. People really should learn that just because it says it's 90% chance of rain doesn't mean a flood or thunderstorm is coming. look at the amount of rain (qpf) not the percentage. Will there be a delay? Possible..but we will likely get the game in.

Pretty sure we'll play tonight. I'd guess no delay, but I think we'll play regardless of that. Since I'm busy till about 9 tonight, a delay to 8:30 or so would be perfect.

This. And there would only be one out. It amazed me how these players attempt to do things running to first that actually slows them down, thinking it gives them the advantage. As with auburn most of the year, brain farts are their undoing.
