Yes, he was. I hate the idea that if it's technically possible for a tiny sliver of his cleat to have touched 1B, you have to go with the call on the field. Just watch the replay and call it like you see it. His foot was clearly off the bag and almost certainly didn't get back in time. Safe.

What do we expect from a crew with the home plate ump yelling every pitch that's not a strike. Shut the **** up back there and just call the game. We dont need an explanation on every ****ing pitch. Stop making yourself the centerpiece of the game just bc there is a hot mic to yap into.
