It just feels like Penn State grossly mishandled that entire situation. Probably to our benefit.

I agree. Reading between some pretty thick lines, there are some players that ain't happy with how that went down, to certainly include Tommy. Will be interesting to see if they have locker room issues if Clifford struggles early.

His family stated that this was the reason he wanted to transfer. Stevens was misled and mishandled.
