I think we might need to just retire the number across the board. I can't think of another school that has had so many legendary athletes across multiple sports all wear the same number. It's unreal.

I don't like retiring numbers. I'd rather it be an earned honor. Or let somebody where a patch or something with 15 if they want to keep their actual number.

Retire it in football when dak drops that huge check to us from new contract... hope this happens anyway

This.

It's celebrates the number. Retiring it makes people forget.

That's a good thought. Somewhat like A&M does with 12 in football ... nobody gets 15 as a permanent number, but gets to wear it as a special honor ... in all sports.

Perhaps someone needs to suggest it to Cohen.

I think you have to be a transformative player. All 4 sports should hold that number for a true baller and good person. Either that or retire it.

The first "15" to lead us to a National Championship in any sport gets statue #3 outside the appropriate field of play. Hail State!

True. BTW, is the display of Keifer #21 and Rodney Stowers #97 still in the players' gameday locker room?

Are you crazy? We need more no. 15s in the future, not end the trend.
