I would like to know. I can't find anything. I can't stop thinking about it.

Thanks for the update DR. Could have been strep mixed in with the heat which is a bad combo. Glad he was released. Was a scary situation. Even Coach Lemonis was emotional after the game.

It was scary not knowing what was going on. I was down in the berm in right field giving the Stanford bullpen guys the business, and everything screeched to a halt as our guys in the field were down on their knees. It literally felt like someone had died in that dugout.

I’m no doctor but why would he be in the dugout and around the team with strep?

Look, don't bring logic into this.

I posted the tweet, but there's a chance the strep angle is not accurate. We'll find out eventually I guess. Just glad the young man is doing OK.

After about 24 hours on antibiotics, you are no longer contagious. (Without taking antibiotics you are contagious up to 4 weeks). By the time you are diagnosed (which can take days for symptoms to show up) you have already exposed others.

Awesome news that Eagan will be back with the team tonight and is well. He most likely got dehydrated along with being recently ill and then he had this episode.

Any kind of acute infection or virus can cause a seizure.

Should be OK as long as he doesn't cough on anyone, and nobody drinks after him.

Look, don't bring logic into this.

If he is on antibiotics, he should be ok. But then he would not have seized. Strange sequence.

my kids had seizures, strep related, when a fever crept in before the Strep was detected

Eagan should have sitting far away from plumlee, Ginn and everybody

So great to see his jersey hanging in the dugout even though he wasn’t there tonight.

That’s what this team is all about!
