That was weird. I'm used to looking at our opponents' comments and seeing a lot of general belief that beating us will be an afterthought!

Its hard for us to remember that we are 3-3. Our 3 wins aren't impressive, but our 3 losses are against teams ranked in the top 20.

We win this by 3 TDs. We beat Arkansas by double digits. Need to get one more to go to the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

what if usm goes 0-for-2013 and beats us next year!? I don't see them winning a game but how embarrassing would that be... I would consider it worse than the beat down Croom got in the egg bowl.

There is no way we're losing to Southern Miss. I think some people still think of them as the program that would routinely win 8 games and be a pretty good non-BCS team.

They are not that anymore. They are absolutely terrible. It doesn't matter how much they 'get up' for that game next year.

I agree... as I live in Hattiesburg and next door to their athletic trainer.... but what an embarrassment that would be. That would be a definite Dan firing IMO.

Obviously. But that's like saying Mullen would be fired if he lost to UT-Martin. Of course he would be, but we're not going to.

If I was a UK football fan, then hell yea I'd be saying I think we (UK) can win this game. But since I'm an MSU fan, I'm going to say we (MSU) smash them.

It's amazing their view point. Even as bad as Kentucky is they have hopeful fans. With all our bickering and yucking about firing Dan Mullen, you would have thought we were the team that was 1-5 while they were 3-3. A little perspective there.

Umm...no.

Have you looked at our prediction thread? We just expect more out of our football program...or some of us do anyway.

I agree we expect to beat Kentucky but my point is as bad as Kentucky is their fans are at least hopeful. We had a bazillion threads started last weekend to fire Mullen and we didn't even play a game! Heck, now we have people doing hypotheticals about losing to a team on a 20+ game losing streak! That is just plain stupid!

It's funny how a thread about Hudspeth is changed to a "fire Mullen!!1!" Thread, but I digress. We are still "hopeful" we will turn it around too...but at the same time we are realistic. They have a brand new coach so they are still hopeful he gets them going. Do you not think they were less than hopeful when Joker was tanking the last few years? That's my point
