Everybody still playing today is just about out of pitching and playing their fourth or fifth game in three days. While I agree that most of the teams playing tonight aren’t national title favorites (I would put us in that category with 4-5 others right now), most of them are better than what they’re showing tonight. Supers and the CWS aren’t nearly the mad scramble that Regionals are, so teams will be more rested and throwing their better arms for the games in the next rounds, and usually the quality of baseball is better.
