Pat O's is overrated. 11am game in the super dome is alright. 2:30 would be better to me, but 11 isn't awful. The other times 17ing suck. I'm guessing our attendance is going to take a hit this year.

Nah, a $9 hurricane packs a punch... great deal

The game starts shortly after Pat Os closes for the night. I probably won’t sleep much that weekend.

Meh... Get our game over with early and then go watch the rest of the day in a bar on Bourbon, is that really a bad thing?

Until the game ends and you walk outside. Then it's 3PM, in New Orleans, in August, and then you die.

11am is fine for most road games. In the dome, weather won?t be a factor.

Usm game.... games were played for decades at 1:30. 230 is fine. Rivalry game. No excuses.

11am KSU game the week immediately following the usm game? We will be lucky to get 40k actual attendance.

K State will have a minimum of 8K at the game.

You're not wrong, but to me it's pretty ridiculous. 11am in the blistering heat against Middle Missouri Tech, fine stay at home, but this is a Big 12 opponent that we should beat. There are only so many chances to watch your team play at home, and wins at home are damn fun regardless of the opponent.

Maybe the week-to-week crowd will be lighter, but I would hope all the season ticket holders and regular attendees would show regardless of the time. I know that's not necessarily real life anymore and our fans are a bit spoiled by some success. Folks should be forced to watch games from 2002-2006 and they would be thankful to watch this team play and win against anyone. Now get off my lawn.

I agree. However going by years of being a State fan and the BYU game a few years ago..... the KSU game will be pitiful.

I will be there with sun screen in one hand and cowbell in the other. $2080.00 for two season tickets is too much money spent not to go. Plus I love being there.

This. Good balance with the pain of the early game is I get home in time to watch the other games.

just fyi... and no disrespect to anyone here on the board, but the U-La-La game in the Dome is the same weekend as Southern Decadence aka Gay Mardi Gras. The prices for hotels and everything will be sky high. Large crowds, inconveniences, etc.

Damn, that sucks. I know New Orleans has something going on just about every weekend, but not everything is big enough to make it inconvenient.

lol- we learned this lesson a decade ago during our annual fantasy football draft trip. We spent most of the weekend in strip clubs because of it. Never again.

Based on last year's disapointing season, I anticipated some 1100 AM games and didn't renew season tickets, glad I made that move.

Man don't even drink anything in any of those tourist traps on Bourbon. All those places are serving mostly moonshine in their drinks and have been doing it for years. Balloons their profits. You will feel like you got run over by a Mack truck the next morning. You can just walk up and down poydras street and there are plenty of little dives on it to party in. Go to the maringy after the game and get down if you want a party . Its a couple blocks past french market.

I am probably going to try and go to this game if I can get tickets at a decent price. We need to smoke ULL.

I got a hotel on Canal for 112 per night through a priceline deal. That was a month ago though. Prices may have gone up by now. I will have fun in Nola regardless of who is there. I do with the game time was a few hours later, but I will power through it.

Yep, I just looked on Hotwire app, and it has these deals for a Friday-Sunday stay...

$123/ night - 4-star Superdome area
$118/night - 4-star bourbon st area
$90/night - 4-star French quarter miss river area

Then the ongoing festivities in the area must not carry as much weight as it used to. I remember it being a madhouse. I stand corrected.

Hotwire always beats all the others in Nola though, so I'm sure prices are higher on other sites

You should def go to the KSU game if you get a chance. Thats a big game for the year, solid P5 opponent at home I would expect a good crowd

Zuber against his old team. Maybe he goes off for a monster game like we haven't seen since Fred Ross.

Lucky depends on who's perspective. But I do realize why fans who go to the games love the night games.

For those that work some part of the game or a surrounding business, early is pretty good.

That's about 1/3 the cost in Starkville/Columbus for game weekends.
