Whenever the professor is explaining how all of the people are going to die from the exposure and then they show what happens to them. Just put a bullet in me.

It's been great so far. From what I understand, the director is basically telling the true story. He has taken a few shortcuts such as rolling multiple people into the lady nuclear physicist but overall he's spot on.

Finished it today. What a show. Overall production quality and actor portrayal was amazing. Wish it wasn't just 5 episodes though.

After just finishing Mindhunter, I'm 2 episodes into Chernobyl. Holy shit, it's nuts. This show verges on horror.

Absolutely amazing docudrama. No one realized just how close it was to a global disaster. Anyone who thinks socialism is a good idea should be required to watch this. And to think we would have never known the truth if it hadn't been for Legasov making tapes and having them smuggled out of Russia.
