Ethan Small was named SEC Pitcher of the year today and JT Ginn was named Freshman of the year.

Small, Mangum, Foscue, and Allen were all named 1st team All-SEC and Jake was named to the All-Defensive Team.

All very deserving but it is surprising that Skelton didn't make it. Skelton has become a very good defensive catcher along with hitting about as well as anyone outside of Oregon St.

Skelton should have made one of the teams as well.

We almost had Mangum win player of the year which would have given us player of the year, pitcher of the year, and freshman. crazy.

Hopefully J.T. picks up the pitcher of the year award next year!

Impressive. Foscue and Allen and Ginn return. Small was a no brainer. Ginn maybe too. Heck the whole list for MSU were no brainers. What a year for MSU baseball. Congrats to all.

We're going to have to figure out our rotation. Really hinges a lot on how much progress Cerentola and MacLeoud make. We're probably replacing most of our bullpen too. Keegan is a wild card. Hitting should be good. Mangum is impossible to replace. We need Cumbest to step up. Westburg could bust out next year as well.

You nailed it on Macleod. Cerrantola is still probably a year away from having faith in him in the rotation, if ever. But if he clicks he's a filthy dude. Lots of juco guys coming but I don't see a legit difference maker as far as rotation guy. Brandon Smith is going to be really good. I like our lineup. Finding the pitching pieces is clearly the key.
