Picked up a few trout early this morning, then plopped down on the beach for a bit. Fried trout roe for an appetizer, pan fried trout, roasted potatoes, & green beans now. Solid day.

Props to catching trout on the coast right now. I have zero confidence in dirty water, I go to plan redfish. Proper 12 and bed shortly because we gotta start cooking early for tomorrow. Family crawfish boil could have 50 people...

Dang Beast! That is definitely something I miss about being in MS - you can't get crawfish
here unless you are willing to pay to ship them in.

Spent the afternoon out on the water with my daughter and her boyfriend on his Nacra. My first time
Sailing something like that. Here is a shot from the beach when they went out in a race later today. Went from East Beach
On SSI to the Village Pier and back - about 25 minutes.
Wiped out from a day of sun and surf, gonna bake a potato and fix a club salad.

Beast and Spec have it going on! Tonight we will breaking in a new smoker. It was seasoned yeasterday, so we will be having country style ribs and chicken. Pics to follow.

My day yesterday: removed a snake from my mom’s house at 7:45, helped set up/cook crawfish at 8:30, Budweiser 10, started eating crawfish at 1, a lot more Budweiser, left at 5, fed/bathed/bed kids by 7pm, and I was asleep by 8pm on a Saturday night. I’m officially old as dirt and can no longer hang. Bright side is I felt great at 7 this morning
