If we win the SEC West I'd say it's possible but also unlikely that they would jump us because our RPI is higher we would have more SEC wins, more wins overall, the same amount of Q1 wins but we have a slightly higher winning percentage against Q1 teams, and a better record against Q2 teams. There are some things in their favor- sweep head to head, a 15-5 record against top 25 RPI teams compared to our 12-8, and a SOS of 11 compared to our 20.


Both of us are locks to be national seeds. To me the order 1-8 doesn't mean that much to be honest with you- the important thing is that you are a National Seed.

I don't think they will make Bianco AD because well, they have an AD and whoever their AD is will have to go along with the Network. They're still a football school at heart.

Godwin will try to use them to get more money like he did with MSU. No doubt about that.

Chase Parham is actually buds with Godwin, and say's he'd definitely be interested in the job... but what makes it difficult is ECU is his Alma Mater, and he's got a sweet deal there...I could see them pulling him, but that's about as good as they could ever hope for.

Parham is at least honest enough to acknowledge that OM has <1% to land Dan McDonnell, which has always been the OM pipe dream.

Agreed. Arkansas and State are both basically locks to be top 4 seeds, along with UCLA and Vandy (and almost certainly UCLA and Vandy 1-2 in some order, Arkansas and State 3-4 in some order). Those are clearly the 4 best teams in the country, and that's how the seeds will shake out. There's just about nothing any other teams could do to crack those 4.
