Since our game isn't on yet, I flipped to the SEC Network and the Bears are at Tennessee. First time I've noticed (when we played them earlier this year, the coverage was terrible and the video appeared to be standard definition, if that), but the Tennessee field appears to be totally artificial turf, including the pitcher's mound. I don't think I've seen a fake mound before.

You could almost put them in reverse order after game 1 and go Plumlee game 2, Gin game 3, and Small game 4. If they can do it and still be rested for regionals. Plumlee's been doing well. Depending on who we play, it might be nice to save Small.

In my opinion, you pitch game 1 of the SECT like a midweek game....Smith, Cerantola, James, guys like that. Then go to the normal rotation and if you won game 1 you're at a huge advantage. If you lost game 1, still go normal rotation but have like a 50-60 pitch count on Small, Ginn, Plums, and if you lose....oh well
