I'm not against this. Let him heal up

Hatcher is a solid replacement. He hit the ball well today.

DH him.

Really Clark?

I let him hit against one of the worse pitching staffs in the league.

We aren't going to at least wait to see what the injury was?

I?m betting it was his foot that has been gimpy lately. If that?s the case, I wouldn?t even DH him. The time off might clear his head up a little as far as his hitting slump also.

On radio, Lemonis says it's a foot injury and that it has been bothering him for a while. "Hopefully nothing-but next man up"

Let him pitch hit some if possible so he doesn't get rusty.

If we are going to truly try and let him heal then he will just need to sit the bench. If we DH or even pinch hit him he is still likely to have to run the bases which is how he reinjured the foot today.

Yeah I agree. I don't see any reason to play him this week or really the SEC Tournament unless he is 100% by then. It may also benefit us in the long run to play Hatcher and Cumbest some this week too. It will also allow us to get Luke Hancock some AB's as well.

I might try to get Mac some pinch hit opportunities in the SEC Tournament just so he has some AB's before the Regionals start just to get him some action if he is 100%.
