Why oh why are they still bringing out Minter to close out games. Jeez who didn't see that fiasco coming.

After dodger game 3, I told chop country it was time to flip minter and venters. Venters has been good at AAA (0.00 era, 2.89 fip, 2.57 bb9). No idea why that move wasn't made

We could make it happen. Acu?a to CF and Riley to LF. Riley played OF for the first time a couple nights ago. Tells me we may be preparing him for a shot out there.

Ender is hitting sub .220 and has a sub .300 OBP. Not sure how we can keep Ender in the everyday lineup with that. At some point we have to make a change.

I just wish I thought Riley being up would help. I know Ender is going IL, but that's not our issue. Gave up 14 runs last night.

Folty gave up 8, Biddle gave up 3 before recording an out, and Venters gave up 3. Our bullpen is awful right now. So unless we can find a way to score 6-9 runs a night we aren't going to win enough games for it to matter.

Only gave up 11 runs the whole dback series (4 games). Folty needs to be on the IL or in AAA: he's clearly not right.

Velo is down, breaking ball is flat, and location is off. Some of that is to be expected because he's a month or so behind everyone.

But as Glavine said you have to be concerned. He can't get major league hitters out consistently right now. And when your bullpen is as shaky as ours you have no margin for error
