How the hell could this even happen? I mean, good for him, but damn.

It always sounded shady to me. How could he have gotten through college with this problem?

According to Rapoport’s report, it’s believed when the doctors measured the thickness of the wall of Sweat’s heart, they might have included the papillary muscles. That would have led to the diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the thickening of the heart wall.
Rapoport said the thickness of Sweat's heart wall is actually one-and-a-half centimeters, not two.
With the draft approaching fast, teams will have to figure out what to do with this information on Sweat’s condition, or lack of a condition.

Hopefully it's a misdiagnosis. That's a terrible diagnosis for your long term quality of life.

Detroit is still very interested at 8. We'll see if he makes it past there.

Best comment on Twitter, "...and his heart shrunk .5 sizes that day"

Honestly, I don't see it changing his spot very much, if any......

Him and Slay on the same D would be fun

This could get very interesting. Could Sweat sue for lost money if he drops far enough for it to matter?

He said last week he was totally cleared by doctors. I think some team put this out hoping he'd still be around when they're on clock. The team that moves up to get him is the culprit.

This is why NFL draft coverage is a complete waste of time.

It gets fans with no medical degree playing Dr and people that have never evaluated a player thinking they know more than 20 vets of the scouting industry.

Complete lunacy.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was leaked by a NFL team that wants him to drop to them later in the first round.

Sort of like national signing day.
