Must've seen on film that he struggles to decide whether he should take them or not. Seems to recognize the spin, but not be able to distinguish a slow spin that won't break much from a true breaking ball. In this at bat we saw him take one for a strike and almost swing at a big breaking ball thrown at the same spot
