Another shitty year in football seems to be expected by their fans. They have problems and I think their future is going to be even worse. "Rebels" and "Ole Miss" will be gone sooner than later and that might just be the dagger for that school.

"Over the years we have seen Colonel Reb taken off the field. Also gone are the days of the Rebels battle flag and 'from Dixie With Love' all of which were icons for all Ole Miss fans."

Welp, at least he owned it up front, lol.

If there is one thing I've learned from years of being a State fan, we don't take advantage of opportunistic moments. We just don't.

Also "Seeing our traditions and our own culture stripped away doesn?t make this an easy ride."
He actually calls it their culture. Hopefully this gets some national play.

Exactly. To me, this has nothing to do with football....the more MSU and the City of Starkville can distance itself from those morons, the better. And fortunately, they typically do the legwork for us. All the re-branding attempts in the world (e.g., "I am a Rebel" commercials) can't cover up what foundation their institution rests on.
