Believe you are correct. That guy has been slinging money all over Houston the last few years. I?d like to see them enter the Big12 and make the Longhorns squirm. Long shot, but would be fun to observe from a distance. Houston area has a lot of talent.

Houston use to be a big time school in the SWC. I am pretty sure they have a bunch of rich alumni as many of the other Texas schools do.

They don't have as many as the other Texas schools, but they have Tillman Fertitta. And when you own the Houston Rockets that's a pretty big name recognition.
