Any word on whether he'll qualify or not? Any other recruits in danger of not qualifying?

Couple guys including Gray havent made their ACT scores yet from what I've read but everyone is close. I don't think Flowers or Derunnya have theirs yet either. Still some work to do

I'm going to be pissed if we don't find a way to get Derunnya in. Dude is a freak athlete. And he'll have an immediate hoops impact.

I don't think he'll play basketball for a myriad of reason. Could be wrong but I wouldn't get my hopes up

I dont look for him to make any kind of a hoops impact this year

He will be with the football team until after the bowl game. Then he has to start practicing, get in basketball shape, and learn what we are doing. That will take 3-4 weeks at least. And we will have some depth next year at the spot he plays

1. What's his best basketball offer? (UAB. Troy did not even offer)
2. What did he sign an SEC scholly in? (Football)
3. If the kid isn't eligible yet, he's a borderline academic kid and those guys do not play 2 sports.
4. Rumored Mullen won't let him
5. Watch his basketball tape. He's just a great athlete playing bball. Doesn't translate to college. He can't shoot so he's not a G and has no inside game so he isn't a F. Again, great HS bball player but not BCS bball player
6. If you read 247, Paul Jones has basically said everything I just did over the last month. Gotta read b/t the lines

I've heard that as well. He's a 6'5 post player- not much of a market for those types of guys. He could be an NFL talent- and may focus there. The jury is still out on what he will do.

Ideally something similar to TD's...

we'll get on that- the IT guys have been busy doing actual work lately instead of working for free here
