Do they literally enforce the 10x10x10 rule? That's like a lunch box!

The couple of games I have been to this year, they have black boxes right outside the gates. Once you approach, they try and place the cooler inside the box (to make sure it meets their size requirement). Make sure the cooler does not have wheels. You can bring in a collapsible cooler ... I have seen people pack those full (at the bottom).

I just put a pint in my back pocket. Screw carrying a cooler around.

It depends on what gate you go in and if the person checking is in a good mood as to whether they'll let you slide if it's a little over size requirements. Friday night they were very strict on it but Saturday they didn't even make me put my cooler in the box. Went in the same gate both times. The best way to not have to worry about any of that though is put your cooler in the stadium very early. I think the cutoff time is 3 hours before the game starts. If you get in before that it can be any type of cooler. I usually do that, but was unable to this weekend because of work Friday and then I drank to much baseball water so I was a little slow moving on Saturday

How do you get in the the stadium 3 hrs before 1st pitch? I’ve been told more than once that gates don’t open until 2hrs before 1st pitch.

People that have "rigs" have an earlier unloading time than the regular gate time and they can take in large coolers at that time

The boxes outside the gate are actually 12 x 12. They have given you a little extra room to play with over the posted size. For rigs and premium seating, gates are open for 2 hours to stock your locker or rig. Example: 6:00 PM game. Gates will be open to stock your locker or rig at 1:30-3:30. They will close at 3:30 for security to do a sweep before opening the gates for good at 4:00. Several have just set their coolers on a friends rig until gates open for good.

If you try to get in with a smaller cooler and are told no, go to the talble next to you or a different gate.

I carried in a Mississippi State cooler shaped like a medium-large purse. The top is about 12" across, but it's only 6" or so wide. I opened it up in front of them, I had a beer on top, then pushed it down and brought up a ginger ale. Passed.
