meanwhile...he said this a month ago about the last error. Just a joke. NO MORE SUPPORT of the CL for anything. We kinda relaxed that over the past year. But F*ck that. They are barely surviving. Kill them.

Funny how these "mistakes" rarely happen in reverse. Best case you can make for them is that it's not intentional, but rather unconscious bias. Even then though the correct response is to never give them a dime or a click again

Actually, I can't EVER remember the Clarion Liar getting this wrong the other way. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyone remember an example?

I could see it happening one time. But for this to happen multiple times is wild. This would be priority number one of proofing haha.

Honestly, what does it matter? Our women's program is at such a level that everyone in the state of MS and across the country knows who Vic coaches for.

This only makes the paper look incompetent. No real reason for any of us to get fired up about it. If we were trying to distinguish ourselves from Ole Miss, I could understand but I can guarantee you that no one outside the state is reading that paper. Any one inside the state that still reads it, knows the difference - so again I go back to - why does it matter?

Yes but the NFL isn't based in Mississippi, and they have a lot more than 3 schools they're supposed to cover. I can understand an NFL person mixing up the Mississippi schools far more than I can the CL. Plus, Vic has been our coach for years and has coached in back to back Nattys... they've used his name so many times that it's way less excusable to mix up his school than it is to mix up a player

Cohen should ?accidentally? send all their credentials for the rest of the year to Nashville. Even if it were a mistake there have been way too many to overlook. They are nothing more than an OM troll.

The local ones will screw it up also. And Sam Hall is local and his title is Executive Editor. So he had responsibility over anyone who wasn't local, but was working on his paper. He just doesn't take his responsibilities seriously. He's just another incompetent employee who can't perform and compete everyday in a marketplace that now has competition.

What about this scenario: Other than the Jackson people not reading things over before it's sent out, what if the job was given to somebody in Nashville, maybe even a female who doesn't follow sports, who doesn't know the difference in the two schools. That person may think that the nickname of Mississippi State really is Ole Miss. If they were just called Mississippi like all the other states that have two schools, there would be no confusion.
